Artist's Bio

Andrea Rosenthal is an artist specializing in color photography. She works in Boston and on Cape Cod. Her current projects include “Cape Abstracts,” “Weeds in the Landscape,” “Structures,” and an ongoing observation of the Charlesgate (Boston) Restoration Project. She has begun using herself as a subject to explore the emotional issue of a lifelong problem with food.

Rosenthal’s work has appeared in the Duxbury Art Association’s Winter Juried Show (2002), the Provincetown Art Association and Museum’s Members’ Juried Photography Show (2002), and on the History Channel.

In addition to the Photography Atelier at Lesley University, Rosenthal has taken courses and workshops at Radcliffe Seminars, New England School of Photography, Cape Cod Photo Workshops, Rochester Institute of Technology, and Project Inc.
