My footprints and the coyote footprints in the snow on the land where I live forced me to reflect on the Spanish Lion that the Tewa Indians carved into the rocks in present-day New Mexico in the late 1500’s
For some reason it reminded me of the menorah that we decided to leave turned on in our window, maybe because we were too lazy to take it down after Chanukah, or maybe because if anybody had questions about it, we could invite them in for pita and humus.
