Photographer                                      www.YesThatKarenDavis.com   My photographs are my journal of memoir and exploration.  Here, spontaneous portraits of family and friends mingle with considered self-portraits; scenes of public spaces with private interiors; and always, from the corner of my eye, objects of art- high and low. From this visual journal, I construct personal and social narratives.  Sometimes the photographs are all that is required; other times I combine image with text in artist books, mixed media pieces and multi-media formats.
