These collages are my response to a class-assigned conversation with David Hockney. Growing up with his art adorning the walls of my childhood home, I was curious to learn more about the man and better-understand his process. What began as a simple exercise, grew into a study of how a camera that typically records a moment in time by freezing that frame forever, can at the same time record time itself. This is a study of events and relationships and how still life can be put into motion
