Every step taken gets us closer to our own point. When I was young, I wanted to be a Texas Ranger, or Georgia O’Keeke, or Duane Michaels, or Robert Rauschenberg. I saw in each of these personae the ability to make one's own way, to chart a unique path. Now that I am in my 50’s, I am able to see my life, too, as an unique journey or perspective. Each of my experiences has brought me to this place in time. Life/Changes, my current work, chronicles my experience of my own evolving self using a base of photo image transfer and mixed media.
