Everyday Moments

“So all that was going on and we never noticed”.
“Do any human beings ever realize life while they live it – every, every minute? “
“Emily” in Thornton Wilder’s play, Our Town

My current work focuses on people, especially children, often strangers and always is candid. As a street photographer I look for moments that reflect our universal human experience. I look for our responses to what life brings our way, from the happiest of moments to the saddest.

This series of photographs which evolved from my many walkabouts in New York and Boston, Truro and Provincetown share the quotidian world of our daily existence and attempt to shed light on how we live our days. For example, isn’t it wonderful to have lunch and conversation with a good friend! Do you remember both the thrill and scary feeling of the team depending upon you? How I enjoy watching people like the couple dancing the tango to their own music in public.
