Bio

Linda Rogers is a mixed media artist who uses photography, word and image, collage and installation in her work.  From 2002 to the present she has exhibited in juried group shows at the Cambridge Art association and the A Smith Gallery in Johnson City Texas, and in 2011, her series “The Books They Read” was included in “Books – Life Beyond Words” at the Bedford Free Library, curated by Astrid Reischwitz.

Rogers work has appeared in eight Photography Atelier exhibitions and websites where her focus has been on relationships, family, legacy and humorous commentary on this American life.  Her mixed media installation, “The Quandary of Legacies,” that included 19th to 21st century photographs, furnishings, books and textiles was part of the Photography Atelier 17 exhibition at the Griffin Museum of Photography in 2012.

She has studied digital imaging and photography at the New England School of Photography and the Photography Atelier at Radcliffe Seminars, Lesley Seminars and the Griffin Museum;  also studied Word and Image, Fiction into Film, and participated in creative writing seminars with Anne Bernays, Cynthia Rich, Alex Theroux, Shaun O’Connell, Jane Rabb and Miriam Goodman.
