Fine Art photographer Ellen Toby Slotnick images are included in the permanent collections of the Newton Wellesley Hospital, the Corporate Lending Program at the DeCordova Museum in Lincoln, MA as well as private collections here and abroad. Ms Slotnick has shown her work in two solo exhibitions, black and white photographs of Ireland at the Gallery of Photographic Art in Tel Aviv, Israel and images from her Structured Landscape portfolio at the Jewish Community Center, Worcester, MA. Her recent exhibitions include group shows at the Danforth Museum, Framingham, MA; the Brush Gallery, Lowell, MA; The Griffin Museum, Winchester, MA; the Concord Art Association, Concord, MA and the Rocky Neck Art Colony in Gloucester, MA. A number of her portfolios include Cuba...away from the city, Paradox, a study of abandoned homesteads and farms in North Dakota and In a Different Light, infrared photographs from western Ireland.
Ms Slotnick holds a BS degree from Rochester Institute of Technology in Photography and continues to study with classes at the Griffin Museum, Winchester,MA; Massachusetts College of Art, Boston, MA and the New England School of Photography, Boston, MA. In addition, Ms Slotnick has attended workshops with John Paul Caponigro, Tillman Crane, Seth Resnick and Ron Rosenstock.
