Bio
Maria Verrier's work has been featured in a solo exhibit at On The Mat and a two-person show, ¨Exposures¨ @ The Studio, both located in Concord, MA. Her photographs were juried into a group exhibition at the Concord Art Association by Arlette and Gus Kayafas. Images from her portfolio, “Storyteller”, will be featured in Photography Atelier 20 at the Griffin Museum of Photography, Winchester, MA, in September 2014.
Verrier’s commissions include images of abandoned historic landmark buildings located throughout Massachusetts: The Knitting Mill in Fall River, The Counting House in Lowell and Worcester Vocational High School School in Worcester, where twenty-two of her images are installed in the newly restored Voke Lofts.
Verrier is the founder of Third Rail Strategies, a business and marketing consulting practice serving emerging companies since 1999. Recently she has dedicated her practice exclusively to the architectural sector. She is the co-author of the book Collaboration, with architect Barry Svigals, FAIA and assisted in the development of a game called TALK + LISTEN to address the challenge of maintaining collaborative relationships.
Verrier is a self-taught photographer currently living in Concord. She is a member of the Concord Art Association, The Griffin Museum of Photography and Creative Imaging Professionals of New England.
