Bio
Sunny Gupta’s photographs often draws on his personal connections with objects and surroundings: the objects that define his daily existence (Ordinary Objects); the neighborhoodwhere he lives and takes walks with his daughter (Un|Structured Spaces).
His most recent series Ordinary Objects is exhibited at the Griffin Museum of Photography in Winchester, MA. He has studied photography with Karen Davis at Photography Atelier and with Bruce Barnbaum in Seattle.
Gupta received his PhD in molecular and developmental biology from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx NY. He has worked as a scientist at MIT and now works as science teacher in Boston Public Schools.
