In this series of photos I return to an interest in finding order in the complexity and sometimes chaos of nature. The location is the Arnold Arboretum in Jamaica Plain. The colors of the autumn were dramatic, and, as a color photographer, it was a compelling time and place to shoot. In these images I am influenced by the color nature photography of Eliot Porter.
