Patricia Garrity explores the dynamics of street photography in her hometown of Somerville, MA. She has taught photography to high school students and adult learners. For many years she was an event photographer for the Bachrach Studio in Boston. Her images have appeared in newspapers, textbooks, newsletters and annual reports.
She has studied photography at Massachusetts College of Art and Design, The New England School of Photography, School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Maine Photography Workshop, Truro Center for the Arts and Lesley University.
Patricia is currently the Vice President of Somerville Community Access Television. She holds a Master of Education degree in Instructional Media from Boston University.
