Listening to the Light

As a musician, artist and theologian, I am drawn to light. The craft of fine art photography has given me yet another avenue by which to enter into and celebrate its many moods and mysteries.

For as long as I can remember light has beckoned me. It sparks my imagination and my musical memory.I feel an invitation to pause. Whenever I am encountered, I experience a sense of awe, not only in the myriad of harmonies that are illuminated, but in the ordinary it reveals as well. I celebrate the subtle as well as the playful nature of light. Perhaps I am being drawn in to enjoy the beauty and mystery, to discover a hidden place... to stand on sacred ground. Within these experiences I feel I have received a gift.
