In support of his early interests, he studied with the noted landscape photographer Ron Rosenstock on-site in workshops in Ireland. More recently he has studied street and documentary portraiture with Norman Mauskopf in Santa Fe, Debbie Fleming Caffery in Rockport, Maine, and with Alex Webb in Brooklyn, NY.
Ed teaches photography to middle school children in Massachusetts, and conducts a photo critique workshop for adults in the Arlington school system.
