Gail Samuelson photographs intimate moments in the life of her family. Her portfolio includes studies of her father’s Alzheimer’s Disease, her breast surgery, her 25-year-old daughter’s return home, and in this series, turning 60.
Samuelson’s photographs have been exhibited at Lesley University, New England School of Photography, and the Griffin Museum of Photography. She was awarded a prize for her cell phone photography from the Texas Photographic Society in 2011 and her work was selected for the Cambridge Art Association’s Blue Competition in 2012.
As owner of Gail Samuelson Photography, Samuelson has photographed people and events since 1992. Her published work includes corporate websites and author portraits. She studied photography with Stephen Tourlentes and Frank Gholke and at workshops at the Massachusetts College of Art, the New England School of Photography, the Art Institute of Boston, the Photographic Resource Center of Boston, and Photography Atelier at Lesley University, and at the Griffin Museum of Photography.
