Bio
After many years working with photographers and illustrators as an art director and designer of educational materials for young children, Trelawney Goodell is now pursuing a long time interest in photography. Her publishing career, focused on visual literacy, has been a big influence on how she looks through the lens of the camera.
Trelawney has exhibited her photographs in solo shows at the Cary Memorial Library, Lexington MA (2010, 2008) and group exhibitions including the Annual Art Sale at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (2006-2012) and the Photography Atelier at Lesley University (2009) and at the Griffin Museum of Photography (2012).
She studied art at Connecticut College and fine art printmaking at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, which has influenced how she works with her photographs. Trelawney has studied photography at Lesley University and the Griffin Museum and taken courses in digital imaging and web design at Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
