Bio
Helena Long, a fine art photographer, has focused on a number of projects, examining nature from different perspectives. Her Chinese-American ancestry and Buddhist practice informs her minimalist photography aesthetic.
Helena’s published work includes the cover photograph for the book, poeMemoir, by Steven Cadwell. She has studied with a number of photographers including Karen Davis and Photography Atelier at the Griffin Museum of Photography, and Randall Armor at the New England School of Photography. She will be exhibiting images from her portfolio Seijaku, the Japanese word for quietness and stillness, this fall at the Griffin Museum.
