About the Work

I came to Boston, a historic city, interested in culture, architecture, monuments…

What was important to me during my work with a camera was showing how different the same object-monument becomes when we see it from several views, how the many perspectives change the context of the picture.

All of these photographs were taken during the winter of 2009:

• George Washington monument in Boston Common,

• Tadeusz Kościuszko statue, Boston Public Garden,

• Prudential mall statue, Boston.

I dedicate this series of photographs to victims of the 2010 Polish Air Force Tu-154, plane that crashed as a result of unknown causes.
