About the Artist

Photographer Christy Stadelmaier is also an interior designer and product development consultant for interior finishes. She has found that successful interior products, like photographer link the memory of the past, the present and the promise of the future.

After years of examining the details of surfaces up close, she continues to study details with the camera, which allows her to see and capture the colors, textures and shapes of the ordinary in new and extraordinary ways.

She is finding photography to be as spontaneous an artistic medium as watercolor and monoprint, her previously favored forms of expression. Christy has studied photography at the Maine Photographic Workshops and Lesley Seminars.
